Jennifer was a lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC. She was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and held degrees from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Queens University of Charlotte. Her life was filled with playful adventures, traveling with friends and family, games of Mahjong with her closest friends, and endless projects to make the world around her more beautiful. She had a long career in real estate across the Southeast and most recently was the proud owner of a design and home furnishing business in Summerville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ferriott, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Lynda Jo Ferriott; children, Emily North (husband Joe, daughters Vivienne and Hera), Westin Buchanan (fiancée Nichole Laggan), Nate Buchanan (wife Jennifer, sons Max and Will), and Colin Buchanan; siblings, Lyn Leslie (David), Thomas Ferriott, Jr., Jonathan Ferriott (Peggy White), and Mary Katherine Burr (Michael); nieces, Katy and Allison; and nephew, Robby.
