She was born October 22, 1902 in Cherryville, Cleveland County, to Henry and Alice Skinner Dixon. She was a retired beautician and cosmetologist, having owned and operated Qualls Beauty Shop for more than 50 years. She was a member of the the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, two sons, one sister, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Lama King. Burial will follow in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
Hampton Funeral service is in charge of the arrangements.
