Last rites for Mrs. Beulah Gorrell Neal, 55, were held at Hopewell Church, Alva, Tuesday, July 15, at three p. m., conducted by Rev. J. B. Middleton and Rev. J. B. Dorroh. Burial was made in Parker Cemetery with Wise Brothers in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Neal was born in the Caderetta community on October 10, 1891, and was married to Robert McCune Neal on November 23, 1906, who survives. Her death came after an extended illness at the King's Daughters Hospital, Greenville, on July 14. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. H. I. Sledge, Cleveland, Mrs. Thurman Allday, Tomnolen; one son, Alvin Teal, Sweatman; four sisters, Mrs. Genie Gall, Memphis, Mrs. Gertie Gore, Memphis, Mrs. D. P. Hazzard, Boyle, Mrs. F. D. Gordon, Sweatman; two brothers, W. A. Gorrell, Tutwiler, J. K. Gorrell, Milwaukee, Wis.; six grandchildren, Shirley Annette Allday, Billy Earl, Virginia Lee and Patsy Sue Sledge, Robert Alvan and Homer Gene Neal.

Pallbearers were her nephews Warner and Curtis Hazzard, Boyle, Miss., James Gordon, Sweatman, Bill and Lyn Marter, Sweatman, and Travis Gorrell Tutwiler.
