Dean Thomas, age 89, of 832 Eggers Branch Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Watauga Medical Center. He was born on March 13, 1917 in Trade, Tennessee to the late Clyde and Nettie (Robinson) Thomas. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by two brothers: Lane Thomas and Ray Thomas and three sisters: Mae Thomas, Mable Thomas and Ruth Thomas. Dean was a retired farmer and had also worked for Johnson County Mutual Insurance Company and the ASC Office. He enjoyed horses and sports, especially baseball. Dean was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and son-in-law, one son and daughter-in-law, all of Mountain City, TN; two sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
