Born November 2, 1937 in Galion, she was the daughter of Frank E. and Clyda A. (Brown) Shockley. She married John H. Fisher on December 8, 1957 and he survives.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1956. Pat was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Galion, Buttons and Bows Mothers Club, United Methodist Women at church, Galion Betterment Commission, Galion Community YMCA Board and enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, mystery movies and politics.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John "Jay" Fisher of Galion, two daughters, Jennifer F. (Bill) Mechling of Venice , Florida and Valerie Howard of Summerville, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Alex (Jodie) Mechling, Adam Mechling, Abbie Howard and Austin Howard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Manning, Lois Warchauer, Bea Monroe and Mary Ann Shockley and three brothers, Frank L., Richard D. and Paul E. Shockley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 with Pastor Heather McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
