Norman Wayne Cox Sr, age 66, of Franklin passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was born on July 26, 1955, in Dayton, to Woodrow and Shirley Cox. Norman worked as a tow truck operator, mechanic and then retired, due to disability. He loved to play music, enjoyed driving his '55 Ford truck and spending time with his family. He will be sorely missed by all those that knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by both parents and multiple siblings. He is survived by his committed wife, Liza Ellen Cox; four children, Bo Cox (Nancy) of Franklin, Delora Ferguson (JD) of Middletown, Debbie Hamblin (David) of Franklin, Daniel Cox (Kylie) of Clarksville and bonus daughter Tiffany Haas of Carlisle; two brothers, John Cox (Willa) of Franklin and Doug Cox of West Carrolton; four grandchildren, Samantha Cox (Devin Studebaker), David "Bub" Hamblin, Matthew Cox, Sandra Hamblin and three bonus grandkids, Hailey, Karissa and Eric Treadway. He also leaves behind longtime friend and ex-wife, Leona McLaughlin (Steve) and a multitude of special nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. The family would like to thank their childhood neighbor, Shane Hall, who helped the family during this difficult time. Visitation will be on Tuesday July 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Roberts Drive Pentecostal Holiness Church in Franklin, with Bro. Roger Mullins and Bro. Jimmy Jewell officiating. The funeral will be held on the same evening at 7:00 PM with a dinner to follow in the fellowship hall. Cremation was Norman's final wish.
