Mack, John Wesley age 82 of Savage, MN passed away peacefully at home on June 27th, 2022.
John was born 6-19-1940 in Jefferson, WI to Robert and Ida Mack but spent most of his school years in St Croix Falls, WI. After high school he spent 3 years in the Navy. After his release from the Navy he met his wife Karen and they were married on July 6th, 1963. They were married just shy of 59 years.
John attended the University of Wisconsin for 1 year and then went to Brown Institute of Electronics for 2 years. John worked for Northwestern Bell which later became Quest for 32 years. He retired in 1996 and eventually spent his retirement years working for Washburn McReavy.
John and Karen had 3 children and raised their family in Bloomington, MN for 48 years before they moved to Savage in 2019. Favorite past times were camping with family, sailing on his son's sailboat, picture framing and volunteering at church.
John is survived by his wife Karen, children Tim Mack of International Falls, MN, Tricia (Craig) Regan of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Todd (Mary) Mack of Bloomington, MN. Grandchildren Emily, Elijah, Caleb and Elizabeth. Brother Bill (Ellen) Mack of Orange, CA and sister Merodie (Doug) Anderson of Cushing, WI.
Preceded in death by parents Robert and Ida and grandson Alex.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 30th from 4pm - 7pm at Washburn McReavy Dawn Valley Chapel 9940 Bush Lake Rd Bloomington, MN.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 1st at 11am with visitation 1 hour before at Mt Hope Lutheran 3601 W Old Shakopee Rd Bloomington, MN.
