His wife of 53 years, Barbara Wieber Maloney, brother, William Maloney and sister, Mary Patricia Wagner also preceded him in passing.
John was once a volunteer firefighter and joined the Army National Guard. He enjoyed a relaxing day watching Louisville Cardinals play basketball.
Here to cherish his memory are his children: David Maloney (Lisa) and Tammy Maloney, brothers; Tommy Maloney (Fran) and Stephen Maloney (Jeneda), sister, Anita Burden (Mark), sister-in-law, Denise Maloney and extended family and friends.
Visitation will occur on Friday, July 8th from 11:00AM - 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow, beginning at 2:00 PM. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville KY 40218.
Mr. Maloney will be laid to rest within Resthaven Memorial Park.
