June, the daughter of Arthur (1908) and Lily (1910), was born on the 14th June 1931 at The Old Police Station, Welwyn and was baptized at St. Marys Church. She became a Laboratory Technician with ICI and Unilever before moving to Hatfield University. On the 18th April 1952 she married Charles William John Stephen Longmead (1922) at Hitchin Registry Office and had a son, Gordon Leonard Longmead. Charles died in 1995 and she married George William Henry Smith (1928 - 2004) in October 2002 at Stevenage Registry Office.
This Lady never had a bad word to say about anyone, she was always a ray of sunshine when the storm clouds of life appeared and she will be forever missed.
