CORTLAND — Margaret M. May, 79, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at MetroHealth Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of George and Freda Kelly Kashmer.

She was employed as a nurse's aid at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, for 20 years.

Survivors include her children, Theresa M. St. Julian of Cortland, Donald May of Pennsylvania, Margaret "Peggy" May of Deltona, Fla., and Marciea May of Daytona, Fla.; stepdaughter, Darlene May of Kentucky; brothers, George Kashmer of South Carolina and Paul Kashmer of Virginia; sisters, Helen Kashmer of Hubbard and Christine Arci of Naples, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren, with one-on-the-way.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Jack May; son, Earl May; and many brothers and sisters.

Services and interment will be private in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
