Mary Jo Bledsoe Woodruff, 88, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, after an extended illness. Services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Rooks Funeral Home, 109 West White Road in Byron, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Tim Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 720 South Camellia Boulevard in Fort Valley.

Born in Pinehurst to the late Robert B. Bledsoe and Emmie McDowell Bledsoe, Mrs. Woodruff spent 30 years pursuing her passion of helping others at Peach County Hospital in Fort Valley. She was a long-time member of Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church.
