"IRA ROBERTS IS DEAD"
Last Saturday one of the oldest, if not the oldest, citizen of Taney county died. It was Uncle Ira Roberts who lived on Big Caney, east of Kissee Mills. Mr. Roberts may have been more than 100 years old. He came to Taney county from Virginia years ago. We have not been able to get any definite information. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. U.G. Johnson.
