Mildred Yvonne Barnes, 67, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Memorial Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall, 569 Berry Street, Orangeburg. Ricky Bouchette will be officiating.

Mrs. Mildred was born on August 14, 1954, in Orangeburg. She was the daughter of the late Johnny "Sonny Boy" Brunson and the late Thelma Murphy Brunson.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Armstrong of Cordova; sons, Marcus "Mark" Barnes (Renee) of Rock Hill, Johnny Wade Barnes of Cordova; grandchildren, Marcus W. Barnes, II, Paige Barnes, Summer Barnes, Johnny Barnes, Alexander Barnes, Landon Fanning; great-grandchildren, Allye Ray, Aubree Bramblett, AnneMarie Barnes; brother, Johnny Brunson, Jr. of Orangeburg; sister, Janice Jackson (W.F.) of Cameron and a special friend, Daniel Hancock.
