It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Fred Morris Smith on Monday, June 27, 2022, in his home in Lewisville, Texas surrounded by family.

Having celebrated 74 years of life, he joins our Lord to walk in peace. Known as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great friend he leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories for all.

Fred is preceded in death by his sister Linda and brother George Smith.

Fred leaves behind his wife Mayra Smith of 31 years and his son Chad Smith and daughters Stacy, Heather, and Kerry Smith his stepson Carlos, Giovanni Balladares,

And stepdaughters Valeria Steinberg and Alejandra Bloom and many grandchildren from both sides.

He was a loving, kind and sweet husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He made many friends along his life. He was just the kind of person who drew people in. He never lost his sense of humor and love for life, his passion and integrity for those he loved was unwavering.

Fred loved hunting, fishing and in his younger years he loved to build cars.

Fred will forever be in our hearts and memories, we will miss you, Freddy.
