Nathan J. Dawson, 43, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday November 18, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family in La Porte.
He was born May 3, 1977 in Berrien Springs, Michigan, the son of Jay Miles Bauer and Peggy Dawson.
Nathan loved his career as a truck driver. He enjoyed construction, working on homes, and could fix just about anything that needed fixing. His real passion was his family, especially his kids Miles and Madeline. He was always doing things around the Bible Baptist Church in New Buffalo for the Pastor.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Dawson, grandmother Genevia Dawson of New Buffalo, MI; son, Miles Dawson; daughter, Madeline Dawson; and Dawn, the mother of his children.
He was preceded in death by his father Jay Miles Bauer.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends (Michigan Time) Tuesday, November 24 at the Bible Baptist Church, 7 E.
