Mary J. Paul entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 63 years, in her home with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1959, in DeRidder, Louisiana to J. B. Brister and Doris Morrison Brister.
Visitation will begin Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service which will begin at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Interment will follow at the Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens, LA. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Carl David Paul of DeRidder; two sons, Joseph William Paul and wife Kasey of Braintree, MA, and David Batiste of DeRidder; daughter, Amanda Lynn Edwards and husband Daniel of Texas; brother, James Brian Brister and wife Gidget of Alvin, TX; two sisters, Maylene Nalley and husband Kelly, and Patty Linville all of DeRidder; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents J.B. and Doris Brister.
