Obituary
James J. Bruce, 44, of Port Wentworth died Tuesday at South Fulton County Hospital in East Point, after a short illness.
The Gainesville native had lived in Savannah for the past 18 years and was employed by Hospitality Builders.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Nance Bruce of Port Wentworth; a daughter, Mrs. Glenda Spence of Savannah; four sons, Larry Bruce of Alma, Bobby Bruce of Germany, Robert and Perry Terrell both of Faulkville, three sisters, Mrs. Annie Byrd and Mrs. Lillian Dale, both of Dawsonville, and Mrs. Weldon Turner of Smyrna; two brothers, Cecil Bruce of Calhoun and Robert Bruce of Dawsonville, eight granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Home is in charge.
