Kenneth D. "Kenny" Myers, Sr., 48 years of Fairchance, Pa., passed away peacefully in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, on Sunday, January 13, 2008, with his loving family and friends by his side.
He was born December 10, 1959, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Richard Darwin Myers and Joretta Jane Wilson Myers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Sonny Ray Jordan.
Kenny was very loving and a friend to everyone who ever met him. He was a gospel singer and even as a home health care provider, he was a blessing to his patients by singing and giving kind service to every patient. He also was an avid bingo player who had a lot of fun with all who played along.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 27 wonderful years, Deborah L. Senda Myers; children: Kenneth D. Myers, Jr. and companion, Trista Jobes, Joretta A. Myers Campbell and husband, Terry L. Campbell, Jr. and Philip N. Myers all of Fairchance, Pa.; one brother, Richard T. Myers, Morgantown, West Virginia; three sisters: Patricia Myers Jordan and husband, Arley "Sonny" Jordan, Robin Myers DeWitt Campbell and husband, Terry L. Campbell, Sr., and Twila Myers Chapman and husband, Kenneth Chapman, all of Fairchance, Pa.; step-mother, Eleanor P. Myers, Fairchance, Pa.; sister-in-law, Marla Myers, Connellsville, Pa. and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today, from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 17, 2008 until 10 a.m. the hour of service with Rev. Brian Kisner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
