Sophia attended Breakout Center in Oklahoma City. She loved to play the piano, sing, play games, and play Bingo. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing word games on her iPad. Sophia loved to cook and was an amazing cook. Sophia was very witty and had a great sense of humor. She was very funny and always had a good joke to share.
She was a wonderful Christian and loved the Lord with all of her being. Sophia was very giving, and many times gave her tithe to "Joe's Place," an organization that fed and did laundry for the homeless. In addition, every time she and her family went out to eat, it was a game for her to "pick someone or a family out" to anonymously pay for their meal.
She was a breast cancer survivor, and always made the best of her situation. Sophia was very optimistic and would always look at the glass half-full and was very gifted at helping others do the same. She was an amazing woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam & Opal Filispski; her daughter, Karen Barnett; and best friend, Billy Redwine.
