I was contacted by a person who lived on the Goff family farm in Oxford more than a century later. These headstones were located there (1635 Granger Rd), although the Goff's didn't move to Oxford until sometime between 1860 and 1870. The children are most likely buried at their Grand Blanc residence, and they removed the headstones when they moved, first to Dryden by 1860. It is unknown if the children were ever given a proper burial elsewhere.

Unfortunately, there was not one for sister Sophia included in the photograph. All of the children represented in the photo (Alva, Julia, Martha) died prior to 1860, and none except Sophia (not shown), appeared on a census.

His death year is not legible, and is a guesstimate based on his age and the birth years of other siblings.
