Mary L. Clark, 86, of South Point, Ohio passed away Friday, June 24th, 2022 The Hanging Rock, Ohio native was born February 4th, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles Schwab, Sr. and Perlie Irene Butler Schwab. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Clark, who passed only a few days before her on June 21st, 2022.
Mrs. Clark attended Hanging Rock Schools and was a caretaker for Pulleys Care Center before becoming a caretaker for a sister she loved dearly. She enjoyed attending her church, Loraine Street Baptist Church. She loved organizing family reunions. Family getting together was important as she loved spending time with her family. She also loved music, dancing, and always enjoyed joking and cutting up with everyone. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by:
sons: Danny Henry, Sr., Greg Henry, and Rickey Schwab
sisters: May Louise Schwab and Linda Schwab Stewart
and brothers: Robert, AB, Grover, Jim, Junior, Raymond, and David Schwab

Funeral Services for both Mary and Howard will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 1st, 2022 at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 South 6th Street Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Kyle Burchett officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial for Howard will follow in the Veterans section of Woodland Cemetery.
