William Robert "Bill" Wagner of Altoona passed away Thursday, June 23rd at home with St. Croix hospice.

He was born May 12th 1954 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Robert and Eleanor (Westberg) Wagner. They later moved to Altoona, and he graduated from Altoona High School with the class of 1972. He married Sandra Flyte of Eau Claire, on April 27th 1974 at First Baptist Church in Eau Claire. He was employed by the City of Altoona for 37 years and was also an assistant coach for the Altoona girls' basketball team for 12 years. He enjoyed going to the family cabin near Superior, as well as fishing, hunting, watching the Packers and Brewers, and always loved hanging out and playing cards with his friends at Rolly's in Altoona.

He is survived by his wife Sandie, of 48 years, of Altoona; daughter Molly of Altoona; son Cole of Cottage Grove, MN; grandson Storm of Stanley; brother Ken of Altoona; dog Fay; and grand dogs Annie, Edith and Gladys.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services at this time.
