Margaret Raye Richardson died peacefully on June 25, 2022 at Rayburn Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Call Junction Baptist Church from 10~11am, followed by her funeral service at 11am.

Burial will be at Magnolia Springs Cemetery.

She was born February 7, 1938 to Claude and Lora White in San Augustine, Texas.

She and her husband, Elton Richardson, of 62 years moved back to Kirbyville, Texas over 30 years ago and immediately started attending Call Junction Baptist Church.

Margaret loved her family and shared openly about her love of books, sewing and quilting with her granddaughters but most importantly she made sure to show them her love of God. She treasured her church family and spent most of her adult life teaching Sunday School and serving her church in different ways: Vacation Bible School, Awana classes, church secretary or providing meals for families. Her positivity and kindness shined through even until her last days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Lora White, brothers, Roy Hyland White and Billy Wayne White.

She is survived by her husband, Elton Richardson, sister, Allie Sue Ferguson, daughter, Tracy DeFatta and her husband Butch, son, Allen Richardson and his wife Terri, granddaughters, Melanie Stinnett and her husband, Nathan, Elizabeth (Lizzie) DeFatta and Allicia Richardson and three great grandsons, Ethan and Evan Stinnett and Kaycee Moss.
