Linda Lou Adams, age 78, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Anchor of the Voyage Senior Living in Marion, Illinois. Linda was born December 05, 1943 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Earl and Louise (Cawthon) Parks. She married the love of her life, Danny Richard Adams on November 20, 1962 at the Arnold View Free Will Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2021. Together, they had shared fifty-eight years of marriage. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired after many years of proudly working alongside her husband, as a book keeper for their family business. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Jim) Karl of Belleville and Sally (Rick) Baker of Marion; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Simmons, Makenzie Karl, Lyndsee (Chance) Ogden, Jacee Baker, Macey Adams, Madysonn Karl, and Josie Baker; two sisters, Katie Rowland and JoAda Parks; two sister-in-laws, Flodene Henson and Diana Almaroad; and five precious great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son- Danny Britt Adams, and one sister, Brenda May. As per her wishes, no services will be held at this time. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
