Obituary
Jackie Lee "Jack" Bradley, 88, of Dexter passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at his residence. Cremation has been effected. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, KS. Pastor Norman Reeves will officiate.

Jack was born May 3, 1934, to J. Homer and Cleo M. (Martin) Bradley in Arkansas City. He grew up attending schools in Dexter, graduating from Dexter High School in 1952. After high school Jack enlisted in the Army National Guard and served his country proud for several years until his honorable discharge in 1958.

On October 6, 1962, Jack married Phyllis L. Cass in Miami, OK. The couple made their home in Dexter where they lived on the family ranch. Jack had a passion for the outdoors and loved working the land and tending to his cattle. In his earlier years, Jack was an avid baseball player and played for several city teams including Dexter and Winfield. He also loved fishing. In his free time Jack would jump on his four wheeler and ride all over the countryside. When he wasn't riding his four wheeler, he'd be on his mower mowing, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Even though Jack was an extremely hard working man and always busy, he made time for his family. He loved spending time with them and being with them. He especially cherished his grandchildren.

Jack served on the Dexter Recreation Board that built the Dexter Swimming Pool. He also was on the Board of Directors for Grouse Valley Manor for over 25 years. In his younger days he was a member of the Dexter Civic Club, and helped cook the meat yearly for the Dexter Barbecue. He was a member of the Kansas Livestock Association.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Phyllis, a sister Donna Jean, and great-grandson Lee Michael Kelly.

Survivors include his two daughters Jill Richardson and husband Mike; Julie Bradley; two brothers Bill Bradley and wife Darlene, Jim Bradley and wife Jessie; seven grandchildren Austin, Ashton, Arin, Trista, Tate, Tanessa, and Tanner, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces.

A memorial in Jack's name has been established for the City of Dexter's Annual Fireworks Display.
