Funeral services for Forman Ayres will be held Friday.
Forman L. Ayres was born in Little Silver, N. J. on December 7, 1885, and spent his early life there, coming to the Chelan area 35 years ago. In 1915 he was married to Mary LaPorte in Waterville. The family have made their home at Twenty-Five Mile Creek since that time.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sisters, Florence and Mary Ayres, both of Little Silver, N.J.; one brother, Edmond Ayres of Long Branch, N. J.; three daughters, Mrs. M. P. Hart and Mrs. Cecil Lish, both of Wenatchee and Eva Ayres of Lakeside; and 7 grandchildren.

Forman was called Leff or Lefferson. Gram was not sure why. His sister in law's last name was Lefferson. He was on his tractor and the tractor rolled over and his skull was injured. He lived three days, but the medical people in that time did not know how to treat brain swelling. He was loved by his family and hs community.
