Born June 1, 1927, in Harlan County, Kentucky, he was the son Anthony James and Cora Ethyl (Bush) Clark.
He was married to Opal (Kelly) Clark, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2007.
He was a coal miner in Kentucky and worked in sawmills and doing general labor his entire life.
Survivors include his children, include two sons, George McCoy (Gail) Creech; and Rickie Darrell (Mary) Creech; a daughter, Vickie Wininger and husband George; seven grandchildren, Lawrence (Sharon) Creech; Paul (Dee) Creech; Pennie (Chris) Sillis; Sarah (Lucas) Seaton; Amber (Justin) Newlin; Kelly (Joe) Stillings; and Daniel Wininger (fiancé, Bailey Tenny); and ten great-grandchildren, and eighteen great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, and he was the last of ten siblings in his family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
