J MONROE JOHNSON
Conway, Feb 9 [1922] - J Monroe Johnson, for many years a well known carpenter of this city, was taken suddenly ill yesterday morning about 5 o'clock and died in a few minutes. He had not been very well for several weeks, but was not thought to be in a serious condition. He was down town the preceding day and, while not feeling well enough to work, still did not think himself sick. He had a fainting spell a few days ago at his work, but it passed off in a short time. He is survived by his wife and ten children, ranging in age from two months to 20 years. Mr Johnson was a man of good habits and had many friends who mourn his death.
