Tracy L Battaglia – Martin. Passed away suddenly November 12th 2021. She was born in Livingston Montana on March 11, 1963. At age 2 months her parents moved her to Buffalo NY. She attended Orchard Park High School where she formed lifelong friendships.
Tracy graduated from Buffalo State College with a BA degree in Fine Arts and was on the Dean's List for 4 years. After graduation she worked in the construction industry as a Professional Photographer on remediation jobsites in New York State.
Tracy returned to college and earned a MS degree in Art Therapy from Buffalo State College. After graduate school Tracy developed and implemented the Kids Against Drugs program for the Buffalo Public Schools.
Tracy was an accomplished artist specializing in oils. Many of her paintings were on display at galleries in New York, Oregon and Washington.
Tracy worked as a Mental Health Professional Art Therapist in Western New York, Portland Oregon and in Vancouver Washington. Tracy had begun her own private practice in Vancouver Washington at the time of her death.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Martin, she is survived by her daughter Maria Martin of Vancouver Washington and parents Jack and Judy Battaglia of Battle Ground Washington.
Flowers respectfully declined. Contributions in Tracy's name to Headway of Western NY, (www.headwayofwny.org) a Head Injury support group, are encouraged.
