Mendel Edwin Waggoner, of Middletown, NY, died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Park Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Middletown, NY. He was 83. He was the widower of Marie Curran Waggoner.
Mr. Waggoner was born in Borden, Indiana on May 23, 1924. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and retired as a Printing Pressman in Blauvelt, NY.
Ed enjoyed golfing, driving and playing cards. He loved his family and his wife, Marie very much. His sense of humor and joy for life will be sadly missed.
The family would like to thank Park Manor for their services during this difficult time.
He is survived by his son, Robert Waggoner of Raleigh, NC; two granddaughters: Ericka Waggoner of Middletown and Sylvia Waggoner of California.
Funeral services will be at Morse Funeral Home, Inc., 33 Railroad Ave., Middletown, NY, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, with interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Haverstraw, NY, with full military honors.
Arrangements are under the guidance of Morse Funeral Home Inc.; 845-343-6918.
