Mary Westmoreland Robinson was born on a farm outside Prescott, Arkansas. She was the ninth of 12 children born to William Samuel and Lenora Westmoreland. In 1929, the family moved to Houston. Mary and Glenn W. Robinson were married in 1939. After Glenn's graduation from Rice University, the couple moved to California, where Glenn worked for Convair. The family moved to Fort Worth in 1943, where Glenn continued his career with General Dynamics. Mary was a loving wife, mother and a volunteer for many years at Harris Hospital. The couple were active members of Grace Methodist Church and Arlington Heights Methodist Church in Fort Worth. In their retirement years they lived in Granbury, enjoying life on the lake, traveling, and family. Mary was a friendly and warm-hearted person, always gracious and kind. Mary was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Glenn.
The family wishes to express its sincere thanks to the staffs of Stonegate Nursing Center and Vitas Hospice for the loving care given to Mary.
Survivors: Son, Mike Robinson and wife, Carole, of Fort Worth; daughter, Dayna Honeycutt and husband, John, of Euless; grandchildren, Michael Brett Jarratt of Dallas, Jill Deleon and husband, Mario, of Keller, Regina Henry of Fort Worth and Erin Honeycutt of Saginaw; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
