Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Evangelist Jessica P. Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brady was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Wilkes County to the Rev. H.A. "Andy" and Para Lee Davis Baldwin. She was a member of Beach Assembly of God church in Shallotte, N.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Brady; three brothers, Henry A. Baldwin, James H. "Sonny" Baldwin and David J. Baldwin; three sisters, Esther B. Hutchens, Eunice B. Minton and Naomi B. Yates.
She is survived by her sister, Rev. Betty Haynes and husband, Rev. Lowell Haynes, of Millers Creek; daughter, Sharon C. Barnes of Ash; son, Rev. Jeffrey R. Barlow and wife, Christy, of Pomaria, SC; four grandchildren, Matthew Barnes and wife, Hayley, of Ash, Jacob Barlow of Farmington, N.Y., Sara Barnes of Supply, Courtney Vega and husband, Matt, of Kannapolis; One great-grandchild, Jaxon Alvarado of Supply; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances grew up in a caring and wholesome Christian home. She had an exceptionally close and loving relationship with her parents and siblings. Very often when she would reflect and share about her younger life, she included the special love and closeness she had with her mother and sisters.
Frances' greatest value was without a doubt loving and caring for her family, her siblings, her children and her grandchildren.
