Patsy was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church where she served on the grounds committee, hosted dinners, and taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was very active with her church and enjoyed helping where ever she could. She worked for many years as a cosmetologist at the Beauty Box where she cut and styled hair. Patsy loved to play basketball in her high school years at Chapman High School. While attending, she also won Miss Chapman High. In her free time, Patsy enjoyed crafting and making floral arrangements, but more than anything, she enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by her children, Kim Williams and Kelly Honeycutt (Greg); her grandchildren, Jason Stowers, Katrina Nichol, Roxanna Honeycutt, and Dakota Honeycutt; her brother, Jimmy Thompson; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Thompson; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Jones; her beloved furbaby, BJ; and her siblings, Chuck Thompson, Alton Thompson, Gene Thompson, Robert Thompson, and Betty Thompson.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
