June 18, 1949 - June 23, 2022

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Carol June Miller, 73, of Winder, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Carol was a native of Milton, Florida, and the youngest of two children born to the late Byron and Pearl Stewart. Carol was devoted to a life of service, and was currently serving at Winder First Baptist Church as the WMU Director. She was recently elected the Missions Mobilizer for the northeast region of Georgia. She also serves as a representative on the Baptist Woman's Missionary Union of Georgia executive board. Throughout her life, she was involved and led numerous ministries within her church including WMU, Bible Drill, GA/RA Youth Programs, backpack ministries, food pantries, Vacation Bible Schools, as well as leading her Sunday School classes. Her heart for missions expanded beyond her church into her community as she supported multiple service organizations including various Pregnancy Resource Centers, Hope thru Soap, and The WellHouse. Carol will be remembered for her servant's heart, commitment to spreading the word of God and the love she had for her family and everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Gene Stewart.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Guy Miller; three sons, Chris (Allyson) Morris of Mooresville, NC, Kevin (Kelly) Morris of Dacula, GA, Kyle (Danielle) Miller of Orlando, FL and seven grandchildren, Brandon Huntley, Grace Morris, Sydney Huntley, Ally Morris, William Morris, Andrew Morris, and Adeleine Morris.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Milton, Fl.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Carol Miller will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Milton, Fl. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery located at the Naval Air Station Pensacola.

Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with local arrangements.

Keeping with Carol's love for mission work, in lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate in her memory to support a ministry that she was passionate about. Designed For Joy's mission was close to her heart and is where her granddaughter, Grace Morris, is currently working.
