Brandon Scott "Scotty" Sutton, 45, passed away in Pearl, MS on Monday, June 20, 2022. Born March 1, 1977, in Houston, MS, he is the son of Hansel "Bud" Sutton and Patricia Adams Sutton. He attended Calhoun City High School, and was a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
He worked in the furniture industry for Hayworth of Bruce, but loved to be outdoors either fishing or just hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed riding and taking trips. Through it all, his family always meant the world to him. He will be missed by them deeply, but his memory will be held forever in their hearts.
Pryor Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sutton family.
A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 2:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Sunday from 12:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Jim Vance will be officiating, with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Brian Bumgart, Bradley "Rudy" Bumgart, Cody Smith, Lamar Williams, Jody Dye, and Hulet Moore.
He leaves behind his parents, Hansel "Bud" Sutton and Patricia Adams Sutton of Calhoun City; grandmother, Margaret Sutton of Eupora; sister, Charlotte Sutton of Calhoun City; brother, Tommy Daniel Sutton of Calhoun City; and a host of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, L.V. and Kathrine Adams; grandfather, Frances Eugene Sutton; and uncle, Gary Sutton.
