Dawn Renee Robinson Harrell-Locke, 68, of Hot Springs peacefully passed on June 21, 2022 to join her Lord and Savior in her forever home. Dawn Renee Robinson was born on November 19, 1953, in Altheimer, daughter of Fred and Carolyn Fox Robinson. She was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.

Renee loved taking care of others. She started her career as a buyer for Cohen's Department Store in Pine Bluff and worked with Artworks in Little Rock for many years before moving to Hot Springs. It was there that she found her true passion of serving by owning and operating a bed and breakfast, Butler Manor, for many years. She sold the business in 2007, but continued to serve her customers until her retirement in 2011.

Renee's life was marked by the selfless way she served and abundantly, loved people. Her warm smile, tender heart, and generous hospitality were just a few of the characteristics that drew people close to Renee.

Renee was a believer in Jesus Christ and gave much of that credit to her grandmother, who she spent time with as a child. She was firm in her faith and believed this life was a temporary journey at the mercy of our Lord.

Renee was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother. She exceeded every role in her life with grace and grit. She knew when to speak up and when to be quiet. She knew when to give a kind word and how to tactfully deliver the truth. Renee was also able to make even the dullest of moments feel fun. She was a force all of her own. A free spirit with a heart of gold, more precious than rubies. Renee's tenacity, generosity, and never-ending devotion to the ones she loved were both infectious and empowering.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Robinson; and loving husband, George Locke.

Survivors include her daughter, Megan (Zach) Alexander; granddaughters, Joplin Bo Harrell and Vaeda Grace Alexander; stepdaughters, Carla McCord (Bill), Haley Elliott (Bruce), and Georganna Faulkner (John); stepson, Joe Locke (Sharon); father, Fred Robinson; sister, Tina Dunlap (David); brother, Robbie Robinson (Toni); nieces, Brooke Dunlap and Loren Robinson; nephew, Tyler Robinson; great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabe, Ava Blake and Avery Kate Robinson; and nine step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

How lovely is your dwelling place,
Lord Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.
Psalms 84
