He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary W. Jenkins; father, John Jackson Jenkins; mother, Lydia (King) Jenkins; son-in-law, Ronnie Horton; 5 sisters: Dixie Sykes, Amelia Jenkins, Betty Jo Toney, Eugene Bright, and Lavinia Spencer; and 3 brothers: Monroe Jenkins, J. D. Jenkins, and Aurthor Jenkins.
He is survived by daughter, Polly Horton of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Randy Reynolds of Lafayette, Louisiana; 5 grandchildren: Kerri Primeaux (Gerald); Kristi Holder (Michael); Ryan Reynolds (Jessica); Lydia McDaniel; and Jason McDaniel (Haley); 14 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Kenny Peacock, Ted Peacock, T. J. Peacock, Seth Peacock, Charles Dupree, and Yagi Patel.
