Born July 2, 1933, in Hewett, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ardith and
Garnet Bias Cook, Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She
was a member of the Spencer Methodist Church in Hewett.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Estel C. Aleshire; son,
Estel (Rebecca) Aleshire Jr. of Hudson, Ohio; daughter, Libby (Andrew
Bronsky) Aleshire of Ravenna; son, Joseph (Rosemary) Aleshire of
Ravenna; grandchildren, Melissa (Nathan) Johnson, Jennifer Aleshire,
Stephen (Sara) Laing, and Rachael Aleshire; sister, Patsy Cook of
Danville, W.Va.; aunt, Dona Cook of Hewett; uncles, Emory Bias of
Hewett and Charlie Bias of Danville.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother,
,Averil Cook; and sister, Diana Vandal.
Friends will be received Friday from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral
service at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. The Rev.
James Kyle will officiate. Interment will follow at Edinburg Township
Cemetery.
