Ernest L. Miller, 65, of Jasonville, passed away at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in

Hutsonwood Nursing Home in Brazil.

He was born March 27, 1957 in Linton to Orval Ernest Miller and Wilma Jo (Reed) Miller.

Ernest married Rebecca Miller, who passed away in 2003.

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Jo Miller of Coalmont; brother, Marty Joe Miller (Sandra);

nieces and nephews, Christina Schumacher (Christoph), Marty Miller II (Tonya) and Jeremiah Miller

(Angela); great-nephew, Otis Schumacher.

He was preceded in death by his father; wife.

Ernest graduated from Shakamak High School. Ernest served in the US Army and then the Army National

Guard. After retiring from the military, He worked several jobs, for the co-op and a brick plant. Ernest enjoyed the outdoors, where he spent his time hunting, fishing and gardening. Ernest also enjoyed playing cards.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home at 218 South Meridian Street in

Jasonville. In keeping with Ernest's wishes cremation is scheduled. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial at Friendly Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites.
