Linda Ann Carpenter Webb, age 72 of Forest City, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Colonial Manor Healthcare in Rutherfordton, NC. She was the daughter of the late Paul Ambrose Carpenter and Jean Tate Carpenter and a native of Rutherford County. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin Webb, and her grandson, Trent Webb, both of Forest City. Linda is also survived by her brother, Bing Carpenter, of Alabama, and her sister, Kathy Carpenter, of Rutherford County, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.

Linda was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed her close relationships with her son, her grandson, her brother, and her sister. Linda was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She liked to read her Bible. Looking at photographs and picture books of her family brought her great joy. Linda had a kind, pleasant, sweet, and gentle disposition. She seemed to be able to make everyone around her smile and laugh. Linda will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

The family will conduct a private, memorial service on their own at a later date.
