Betty Trogdon Wood, 91, of Asheboro, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 24, 2022 at her son 's home surrounded by her family.

Betty was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was retired and enjoying being with her family. Betty was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church of Sophia. She was a loving and devoted mama. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Pugh, and second husband, Paul Wood, her daughter, Deborah Brooks, her son, Rev. Wayne Pugh, and her parents, Gurney and Nora Brady Trogdon.
Survivors: daughters, Denise Dunn, of Asheboro, Wendy Rutledge, of Asheboro, son, Anthony Pugh, of Asheboro, sister, Peggy Richardson, of Randleman, grandchildren, Dwayne Pugh, Angie Gray, Nina Hundley, Ashley Worcester, Amber Whittington, Brian Dunn, Alicia Dunn, Chase Rutledge, and ten great-grandchildren.
