Carol Ann Pennington, 77, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Rosehill Cemetery in Tulia, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Carol was born December 12, 1944, in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia to Allan and Constance Primmer.

Following her marriage to Thomas Dean Barnett on June 6, 1964, in Parramatta, NSW, AU they relocated to Texas. Thomas preceded her in death.

On April 22, 1994, she married Roland Dale Pennington in Plainview, TX. He preceded her in death.

Carol worked as a bank teller and bookkeeper and in her spare time she especially enjoyed growing tomatoes, gardening, making pickles and jams, and watching the birds feed in her lawn.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, Allan Primmer.

Survivors include her brother, Robert Primmer; sister, Sharon Breese; son, Tommy Barnett; and daughter, Lorena Barnett.
