Carol Ann Waters Dyer was born on May 13, 1948, to David and Sadie Waters in Quantico, Virginia. On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 she passed from this life and celebrated a reunion in Heaven with many loved ones after a long, heroic battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was such a fighter and a strong woman.
Carol spent most of her school years in Tulsa, graduating from Tulsa Central in 1966. She Married Rick Dyer on March 5, 1977. They made their home in Broken Arrow.
In 1999 Carol graduated from Rhema Bible College. She occasionally helped out at the family business but spent most of her time being a homemaker and being a wonderful mother to her children and an exceptional grandmother to her grandkids who called her "Gong". When she was able, she enjoyed tennis, softball, living at the lake, OU football, the beach and shopping.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, David Waters, Sadie Blackwood, Step-Father Doug Blackwood, Brother Jack Waters, Great-Granddaughter Valerie Rothhammer.
She is survived by her husband Rick, daughter; Michelle & Robert McIntosh, son; Sammy Slavens, grandchildren; Brandon Slavens, Justin Rothhammer, Brittney Slavens, Brooke Burnette, Jason Slavens. Great grandchildren; Harper and Kinsley Burnette, brother; Mike Blackwood, half-siblings; Bill Waters, Elizabeth Ridenour, Paul Waters and her beloved dog, Bella.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jun 24 at 10:00 AM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel - Sapulpa 400 E. Teel Road, Sapulpa
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jun 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home - Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
