Michael 'Mike' Richard Stevens, age 78, passed away January 24, 2022.

Mike was born on September 7, 1943 in Minneapolis Minnesota.

He was a Navy Veteran from October 14, 1960 until his honorable discharge on September 4, 1964. He served on the USS Turner and received a Good Conduct medal on March 10, 1964. Mike loved his family first and foremost, often working two jobs to provide everything he could. His special moments included coffee and peanut butter toast with his brother, Jim, who's passing left a large hole in his heart. He loved "treasure" shopping antiques and giving them away to others, especially children.

Mike is survived by wife, Janis Elaine (Szepanski); brothers, Kenneth and Charles (Pat); children, Wayne, Christine (Scott), and Tracy (Bill); grandchildren, Kevin (Sam), Nick (Calli), Dylan (Brianna), Caitlin (Jason), Dana and Grace; great grandchildren, Hudson, Lillian and Wiley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace John Stevens and Exie Elizabeth (Harroll); and 7 siblings.

A special acknowledgement to nieces, Connie and Lisa, for their love, support and encouragement. Many thanks to his home health care angels, Jessica and Margaret. Also thank you to Davita Dialysis in Stillwater and Lakeview Hospice who gave him and his family dignity, care, and amazing services in his end life journey. Last, but not least, to the Oasis Café in Stillwater who made him feel like family.
