Beatrice Josephine Presley, age 90, of Shawnee, OK passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Meeker, OK.
She was born December 24, 1931 in Henryetta, OK to Arthur and Ione (Watkins) Wilkey.
Beatrice was raised in Hulbert and lived in Wagoner, OK, but spent most of her adult life in the Shawnee area.
She attended Hulbert Public Schools.
Beatrice married Kenneth D Presley on September 18, 1949 in Wagoner, OK.
She worked at Newton Walls and TG&Y until her retirement.
Beatrice was a very active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Tecumseh where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She loved flowers, fur babies, and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; grandson, Justin Kenneth Presley; sisters, Leola Adams and Betty Hardy; brothers, Don Wilkey and Billy Wilkey.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Bev and Darrell York of Del City, OK; sons, Kenneth, Jr. and Sherrie Presley of Shawnee and Glenn and Linda Presley of Harrah; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home. The casket will be opened for visitation and will not be reopened for the service. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Tecumseh, OK with Reverend Mack Pearcy officiating. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Presley, Shawn Presley, Cody Presley, Anthony Presley, Jeffrey Presley and Bradley Schantz. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
