David X. Evans, Jr., Odenton, Maryland, formerly of Scranton, passed away June 20, 2022 under the care of the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Maryland. His wife is Toy Evans.

Born 1958 in Scranton, he was the son of Rita Mae Novitskas of Clarks Summit and the late David X. Evans, Sr. Educated in Scranton Schools and graduating from the Conestoga Valley High School in 1986. David then earned a Bachelor's Degree from the East Stroudsburg University. He went on to work as a communications sales representative in the technology industry.

He is survived by cousins; stepchildren Amanda and Paul Collins; step grandchildren Tyler Collins, Casey Collins and Hunter Harbaugh; daughter in law Kimi Collins.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 29th 11am in the Trinity Lutheran Church 205 W. Grove Street Clarks Summit, PA by Pastor George Matthews, Interim Pastor.

Inurnment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.
