Richard "Rich" Loren Roberts Jr., a.k.a. "Big Show," was born on March 2, 1984, in St. Joseph to Richard and Aleta (Hobbs) Roberts.

Rich attended the Gifted and Talented program in Benton Harbor during his youth before moving to Watervliet with his family.

Rich graduated from Watervliet High School in 2002, where he enjoyed playing football, participating in the variety shows, and working at Roma's Pizza in his spare time.

Rich loved his job being on the open road as a truck driver delivering goods across the country. Rich was very intelligent, funny, kind, and had a large and generous heart. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed bragging about how amazing and talented his children are.

Rich passed away on June 23, 2022, at Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph after an extended illness.

Rich leaves behind his loving wife, Alaina (Lewis) Roberts; four children: Kaiden Roberts, Aubree Roberts and step sons ; Anthony Carrillo, Micah Sheridan;
his parents: Richard and Aleta Roberts; two sisters: Nicole (Eugene) Moses, Sandra (Anthony) Vincent; nieces and nephews: Jasmine Moses, Eugene Moses, Major Moses, Chase Moses, Anthony Vincent, Azin Vincent. Rich is also survived by two aunts: Jeannie Allen, Laura Butler, and two uncles: Robert Hobbs, William Hobbs and many cousins.
Rich was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Barbara Hobbs and Flo Gardner, Grandparents Dora and Elmer Roberts.

A memorial service will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Riverside United Methodist Church, 4401 Fikes Road, Riverside.
