Obituary; Thomas A. Brady Sr., 83, of White Springs, Fla., died Wednesday morning, Aug 22, 2007 , at his home following an extended illness. A native of Columbia County, Florida, Mr. Brady had been a resident of White Springs since 1962, having moved there from Lake City, Fla.He was the son of the late John Amos and Zelda Waldron Brady. Mr. Brady served in WWII and the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force and then in the U.S. Marine Corps.He worked as a ball mill operator for Occidental Chemical Co. for 19 years prior to retiring. Following his retirement he enjoyed farming and fishing.Mr. Brady was a member of the Community Revival Center in Lake City.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Obie Brady; two sons, Thomas A. Brady Jr (Deborah) of Starke, FL. and Joe Brady (Alene) of Lake Park, GA; two daughters, Joan Spradley (Shelton) and Dolly Woodruff, both of Lake City, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.
