Born Feb. 27, 1956, in Arkansas City, she was the daughter of George C. Meek, M.D., and Thelma Bea (Bradshaw) Meek. She attended Arkansas City schools and graduated from the high school in 1974. Angela continued her education at Cowley College and Northern Oklahoma College. On Sept. 2, 1984, she married Billy Jack Patterson and the couple has made their home in Arkansas City. She was previously a secretary for Century 21 Real Estate in Arkansas City. Angela was a member of the Random Road Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Patterson of the home; son, Travis Patterson and wife, Lori of Coppell, Texas; daughter, Melissa Patterson of Arkansas City; two brothers, Tim Meek of Arkansas City and Anthony Meek of Virginia; uncle, Max Foster, DDS and his wife, Rose of Arkansas City and a granddaughter, Avery Patterson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don Week and David Meek.
A memorial has been established with the Melissa B. Patterson College Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.
