She was retired from Kingwood Christian School (1993-2002). Ms. Bobbie loved her preschoolers and left a lasting impact on each one of them. She loved them like her own.
Greeting her upon her glorious arrival in heaven were her husband, Thurman Mitchell; grandparents (Papa and Mama); The Reverend William Washington Warren and Leler Warren; her parents, Oliver and Ollie; siblings, Wayne and Joe; granddaughter, Diana; grandson, Isaac; niece Tina; and sister-in-law, Annette.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel (Dan) Johnson, the Love of her life and a wonderful companion for the past 22 years; sons, Frank (Sherry), Rick (Alice), Mike (Michelle), Danny (Karen), James (Rose) and Dana; and siblings, Bill, Ronnie, Jimmy and Gina.
She was a proud Grandmother (Nanny) to 21 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 26 great grandchildren.
Our precious family matriarch loved the Lord our God with all her heart, with all her soul and with all her strength (Mark 12:30) and she loved her family and friends with the same spirit.
Her life exemplified Cor 1:13 – And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
